ScanBalt Campus Knowledge Networks

Putting the Bologna process into Practise

As part of the ScanBalt Campus project transnational collaborations in education and research are being established. Together they form up ScanBalt Campus and are concrete tools to put the Bologna process into practise. The "Knowledge Networks" results from open tender procedures for the members of ScanBalt, which will be repeated regularly. The bottom up approach of ScanBalt Campus is a strong and unique characteristic, which shall improve metaregional coordination and visibility.

Guidelines for acceptance of knowledge networks

The acceptance of a knowledge center is based on the following criteria:

- Activities can be both research and education
- Requirement of mobility between at least two countries
- Activities should be based on win-win situations for the involved partners
- When possible activities should strengthen links to industry
- Involved partners should be members of ScanBalt
