We proudly announce that 7th ScanBalt Forum and Biomaterials Days 2008  (www.scanbalt.org/forum2008) will be organized by Institute of Biotechnology - leading biotechnology center in Lithuania active in multidisciplinary studies of restriction - modification enzymes, and the research and development of recombinant biomedical proteins, with support of two co-organizers: ScanBalt that encompasses regional and national life science triple helix networks between companies, universities, hospitals, tech transfer organisations and public authorities in ScanBalt BioRegion and Turku Biomaterials Centre  - multidisciplinary centre of expertise the goal of which is to facilitate the transfer of university inventions and innovations to commercial products by promoting applied research, materials testing and education and maintain good contacts with the industry working in the field of biomaterials.

7th ScanBalt Forum and Biomaterials Days 2008 will be held in Vilnius, Lithuania, September 24 - 26, 2008.

Two scientific events- 7th ScanBalt Forum and Biomaterials Days - are jointed with the aim and ambition to attract attention of widest auditorium from all over the world, intensify the cross-border collaborations and enhance the networking between countries both from academic and industrial point of view. There is the time to point and brighten the necessity to map out the knowledge in the different regions, develop business, accumulate the exchange of experience and interests among science, industry, business and governmental sectors, and strengthen the value chain needed for the global success of ScanBalt Bioregion.
7th ScanBalt Forum and Biomaterials Days 2008 is going to be honored by the key speakers from Europe and USA which are going to give talks for 200-300 participants.
