In Oulu there is a significant concentration of biotechnological expertise and a cooperative network, which includes the University of Oulu, Biocenter, the University of Oulu Hospital and biobusiness related companies centred in Medipolis. In addition, Medipolis GMP is offering drug development companies a GMP pilot plant that meets both FDA and EU requirements.
