The contract will involve:

- the gathering and analysis of information on measures taken to
  promote innovation in Community projects, as well as the obstacles
  encountered and the actions needed to remove them

- the comparison of experience derived from Community projects with
  the lessons learnt from other national or intergovernmental
  programmes and the validation of the information obtained 

- the active dissemination of this information among businesses and
  other participants in the generation and exploitation of knowledge'.
