SCANBALT EDUCATIONAL MOBILITY STRATEGY

The project actions will aim at the establishment sustainable networks between institutions thus creating a basis for initiatives of student and teacher mobility within the framework of existing mobility programmes.
Within the project period of 3 years following concrete results will be achieved:
Establishment of national working groups aimed to be the motive power of the project. The working groups will define national priority areas, initiate horizontal network, establish institutional agreements and institutional cooperation and thereby directly promote and motivate student exchange. Furthermore the working groups will work as platforms for funding applications, organization of intensive courses and research training and contribute to the mapping of mobility status.
Establishment of “ScanBalt Brain Collection” - a group of acknowledged and highly motivated lecturers within the ScanBalt BioRegion, representing the main competence fields of the region. This action directly aims at the exchange of guest lecturers and will also signal an outward indication of excellence and provide easy contact to key researchers and lecturers in the ScanBalt BioRegion.
A continual mapping of mobility status will be done, and the results will be compiled as information to students and institutions but also presented to influence political systems in order to strengthen the mobility infrastructure.
