INTRODUCTION - BOOSTING BALTIC FP6

Boosting Baltic officially began in June 2004 and will run for 32 months.

Boosting Baltic FP6 aims to increase the competences on programs of FP6 and related knowledge for National Contact Points (NCP’s) and their customers and advance their area of action by promoting advanced partnerships, entrepreneurship and competitiveness.

The project has two target groups, the NCP’s of 4 newly associated countries (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland) and on their life science research community, as a model case for effective technology transfer.

Boosting Baltic FP6 is based on the close cooperation of  ScanBalt, Steinbeis Technology Transfer, the Swedish EU R&D Council and the 4 newly associated countries, Estonia, Lativa, Lithuania and Poland. More information on the partners, the NCP's and existing life science networks can be found here .

The Boosting Baltic FP6 project will:-
Create networks among newly associated  memberstate NCPs
Create networks among Nordic NCP and newly associated memberstate NCPs
Link newly associated  memberstate life science researchers
Host 4 national events in the new memberstate associated countries
Disseminate information
