The open window of opportunities with regard to the Baltic Countries, Poland and North-western Russia will be utilized. Industries in the Nordic countries can benefit greatly from entering into relevant and mutually beneficial collaborations with partners in these countries. 

There are significant potential complementarities and synergies between the industrial competencies in the Nordic countries and the high level of research, education and innovative behaviour in the Baltic Countries, Poland and North-western Russia.

Through improved communication and promotion of competencies this project will support such collaborations.

The project also aims to strengthen transnational funding for innovation purposes through the communication of possibilities, needs and obtained results.

This requires that communication to regional, national and supra-national decision makers is improved. The project will explain and demonstrate the relevance and benefits of transnational funds, in order to exploit synergies from relevant cross-border collaborations.

The ScanBalt Communication project will promote and facilitate the bio-ethical dialogue.
