SETTING REGIONS IN MOTION

More than 400 participants from Interreg IIIB projects, programme’s stakeholders, pan-Baltic organisations and the European commission met in Malmö, yesterday and today.

The conference was a two-day journey into the world of projects in the Baltic Sea region. Results achieved through transnational cooperation illustrated the added value of INTERREG III B to the region.

ScanBalt Campus took part in the conference and Programme Director Susanne Scherrer said: "ScanBalt Campus is an excellent example of the Interreg IIB ambitions of connecting regions - ScanBalt Campus connects regions through scientifiic knowledgde networks".

The conference also presented an up-date on the future transnational programme in the Baltic Sea region starting in 2007 and allowed time for a lively debate on key issues of the next programme
