The Business of Intellectual Property (BIP)

BIP provides IP professionals with the strategic management tools and frameworks they need to address the business challenges of managing intellectual property. Drawing on a combination of world-class faculty and guest executives, the course covers key issues at three stages of intellectual property management: 

  • Extracting value from the IP portfolio
  •  Aligning IP and business strategies
  • Communicating IP strategy and organizing for delivery

 Shorter and more intense than other SIMI programs, BIP consists of two modules of three and two days respectively.
