OBJECTIVES & GOALS
- Establish financial and human resources for interdisciplinary education and research in the field of molecular diagnostics within the ScanBalt BioRegion.
- initiate and strengthen the cooperation between educational and research groups in ScanBalt BioRegion and industry in the field of molecular diagnostics
- launch new projects integrated within European research
- Meet the need of employers to find appropriate specialists and improve the chances of graduates within the ScanBalt Bioregion to find attractive jobs.
- create new curricula that are interdisciplinary and provide problem based learning in the cooperation with industry, community representative bodies and also exchange of students with other European universities.
- Intensify the exchange of knowledge within Europe and the transfer of scientific expertise to the less developed countries.
- Enhance contacts and exchange of staff and students within the Network and between the Network and other leading European molecular diagnostics centres.
- Bridge other similar institutions in ScanBalt Bioregion, Central and East European Countries (CEEC), Newly Independent States ( NIS) and Russia.
